Petrochina starts four-well drilling program in Jabung

Petrochina International Jabung Ltd, a subsidiary of Chinese firm Petrochina, has started a four-well drilling campaign in Jabung PSC, Jambi this month.
The firm started with the drilling of Panen-3 exploration well in early this month, which will be followed by the drilling of three other exploration wells including Panen Utara-2, Tiung-2 and NEB Base-2, Ngatijan, Survey and Drilling Division Head at upstream authority SKK Migas, said on Monday.
Petrochina, which has 27.86 percent stake, partners with Petronas Carigali, PP Oil & Gas and Pertamina in Jabung PSC.
