Petronas Carigali drilling program in South Bukit Tua on track

Petronas Carigali Bhd?s plan to spud South Bukit Tua 1 exploration well located within Ketapang II gas block offshore East Java is on track. Rig is being deployed to the location.
?Rig will be deployed to the location within next two to three days. The operator is scheduled to spud the well on February 18,? Hadi Prasetyo, upstream authority BPMIGAS Head for Central Java, East Java and Papua told Petromindo.com.
The oil and gas block is situated offshore Sampang Regency, East Java, about 40-50 kilometers north of Sampang, Madura.
Petronas Carigali plans to spud the well with a target depth of 6,000-7,000 feet.
