Petronas Carigali kicks of South Bukit Tua-1 well drilling

Petronas Carigali Bhd has spudded South Bukit Tua-1 exploration well located within Ketapang II gas block offshore East Java, about 40-50 kilometers north of Sampang, Madura.
?The South Bukit Tua-1 well drilling had been started on February 20. The drilling is expected to take about 58 days or two months,? Hadi Prasetyo, upstream authority BPMIGAS Head for Central Java, East Java and Papua, told Petromindo.com.
Petronas Carigali is spudding the well with a target depth of 6,000-7,000 feet.
