Petronas completes DST on South Bukit Tua-1 well

Petronas Carigali, the upstream arm of Malaysian energy giant Petronas Bhd, has completed drill stem test (DST) on South Bukit Tua-1 (SBT-1) exploration well in the Ketapang II block offshore East Java.
The DST has resulted in a flow of 450 barrels of oil per day, according to a source at upstream authority BPMIGAS.
The oil and gas block is situated offshore Sampang regency, East Java, about 50 kilometers north of Sampang, Madura.
