Petronas offers N. Borneo exploration block to Pertamina, PetroVietnam

State oil and gas company Pertamina said Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas had offered SK 305 exploration block offshore North Borneo to be jointly explored by both companies and Vietnam?s national oil company PetroVietnam.
Pertamina?s upstream director Iin Arifin Takhyan said that Petronas would open data room next week.
The three companies had agreed to form joint ventures to explore at least one exploration block in each country starting in Vietnam last year and are currently in advanced talk to conduct similar activity in an onshore exploration block in Central Java, Indonesia. (godang)
