Petronas, PHE to start N. Sumatra drilling campaign Q3

Malaysian oil, gas firm Petronas and partner PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) will start drilling campaign at West Glagah Kambuna PSC offshore North Sumatra in the third quarter of this year.

PHE president director Dwi Martono told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that the partnership will drill two consecutive well in the block this year.

Dwi said currently the operator Petronas undertaking preparations including getting necessary permits and tendering for rig.

Petronas has 60 percent interest in the block with PHE holding the balance. (bernard)
