Petronas plans to drill three exploration wells

Malaysian firm Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd plans to drill three exploration wells next year, one in Bukit Tua field within Ketapang PSC offshore East Java; and two in North Madura II PSC also offshore East Java
Petronas?s General Manager and Country Chairman in Indonesia Hazli Sham Kassim told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that the firm will spend US$30 million for each well or about $100 million for the three wells.
The North Madura II PSC is owned and operated by PC North Madura II Ltd, a subsidiary of Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd. The block was awarded and signed on May 22, 2015. Meanwhile, Ketapang PSC is 80 percent owned by Petronas, 20 percent by PT Saka Energi Indonesia.
