Indonesian unit of Malaysian oil, gas firm Petronas Carigali said on Tuesday that gas supply negotiation from its Muriah gas field in Central Java to 600-MW Tambak Lorok power plant owned by state electricity firm PLN is still continuing.
?Hopefully both parties could conclude the deal in 2-3 months time,? General Manager Abu Samad Nordin told petromindo.Com.
Nordin said under the deal Petronas would supply 140 MMCFD of gas to Tambak Lorok for 12 years.
Petronas and PLN had been renegotiating Muria gas price for years due to soaring development costs that have to be shouldered by Petronas.
Petronas has 100 percent interest in Muriah Block. (alex)
