Malaysian state oil and gas company Petronas said it will build four more gasoline stations by the end of this year in Indonesia and 50 more in 2007 following the improved investment climate in downstream oil and gas businesses in the country.
?By the end of this year, we will build four additional gasoline stations. We plan to build between 40 and 50 more gasoline stations next year,? Petronas said Wednesday in a statement.
The company plans to build 200 gas stations in Indonesia until 2011, Kamarulzaman M. Hasyim, president of Petronas Niaga Indonesia said on March 2006.
Petronas opened its second gasoline station in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta early this week following the first that has been operated in Cibubur, East Jakarta. (*)
