Petronas to drill North Madura II block end of November

Malaysia?s Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) is making preparations to launch drilling program at North Madura II block, offshore East Java, end of this month, katadata.co.id reported.
The news portal quoted Senior Manager Corporate Affairs & Administration of Petronas Carigali Indonesia Andiono Setiawan as saying that the rig for the drilling program is expected to arrive at the project location on November 22. ?So drilling will start at the end of November,? he said.
The firm plans to drill one well this year, he said, but did not provide further details.
The North Madura II PSC is owned and operated by PC North Madura II Ltd, a subsidiary of Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd. The block was awarded and signed on May 22, 2015, and is valid until May 22, 2045. (*)
