Petronas to spud South Bukit Tua well mid February

Petronas Carigali Bhd plans to spud South Bukit Tua 1 exploration well located within Ketapang II gas block offshore East Java in mid February 2012.
The drilling is pending the availabilty of rig, which is jointly leased with Santos.
"We plan to spud South Bukit Tua 1 in mid February," Hadi Prasetyo, upstream authority BPMIGAS's Head for East Java area, told Petromindo.com.
The oil and gas block is situated offshore Sampang Regency, East Java, about 40-50 kilometers north of Sampang, Madura.
Petronas Carigali plans to spud the well with a target depth of 6,000-7,000 feet.
