Petronas to start 2D seismic in West Glagah Kambuna in early 2015

Petronas Carigali (West Glagah Kambuna) Ltd, a unit of Malaysia?s Petronas plans 2D seismic program for West Glagah Kambuna offshore North Sumatra.
The seismic survey is scheduled for early 2015, Petronas Carigali Indonesia?s Country Chairman Hazli Sham B Kassim told Petromindo.com
The block is managed by consortium of Petronas Carigali (West Glagah Kambuna) Ltd and PT Pertamina Hulu Energi West Glagah Kambuna. The block was awarded in November 2009.
West Glagah Kambuna block is located at the North Sumatra offshore, which is around 40 miles from Belawan.
He further said Petronas Carigali has drilled two exploration wells in South Bukit Tua field in Ketapang PSC, offshore Madura this year.
?If the result is promising then we will drill one appraisal well next year,? he said.
Ketapang block is 80 percent owned and operated by Petronas and 20 percent by PT Saka Ketapang Perdana, a subsidiary of PT Saka Energi, the upstream unit of state owned gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN).
