Petrosea’s 2025 profit jumps on higher mining and engineering revenue

Engineering and mining contractor PT Petrosea Tbk (IDX: PTRO) reported a sharp increase in profit in 2025 as higher revenues from mining services and construction activities boosted the company’s overall performance.

According to the company’s consolidated financial statements, Petrosea booked total revenue of US$886.46 million in 2025, up from US$690.81 million in 2024, reflecting stronger demand across its core mining and engineering segments.

The company posted a net profit of US$35.01 million, more than tripling from US$9.95 million a year earlier. Profit before tax reached US$39.28 million, compared with US$7.87 million in the previous year.

The company posted net profit attributable to shareholders of $28.808 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2025, up from $ 9.699 million in 2024, according to its audited financial statements.

Mining services remained the largest contributor to Petrosea’s revenue, generating US$389.25 million in 2025, up from US$290.15 million in 2024. Construction and engineering activities also rose significantly to US$379.75 million, compared with US$299.17 million in the previous year.

The company also recorded US$32.87 million in revenue from offshore oil and gas EPCI services, a segment that did not contribute revenue in 2024. Meanwhile, services generated US$30.07 million, while other activities contributed US$2.51 million.

Coal sales added US$52.02 million to the company’s total revenue during the year, though this was lower than US$64.17 million in 2024.
