Petrosea signed contract with Santan Batubara

Indonesia-listed mining contractor firm PT Petrosea has on March 2, 2012 signed an "Expanded and Restated Contract Overburden Removal at Santan ? Separi and Uskup Mine Site No.001/2012? with PT Santan Batubara.

Stated within the contract is the appointment of PT Petrosea tbk as contractor, responsible for all mining services contractor duties in Separi Block and the new Uskap Block with a value of up to US$188 million. The principal amount of the contract since the signing date of the agreement in the new Uskap Block has reached a total of US$399 million.

The contract will expire in December 2016.
