Petrosea still holds stake in Santan coal mine

Publicly-listed mining contractor Petrosea Tbk said on Friday it still holds its 50 percent stake in the Santan coal mine in East Kalimantan, dismissing the report saying it is selling the stake.
On Dec. 28, 2007, Petromindo.com, quoting an industrial source, reported that Petrosea was selling the 50 percent stake in Santan to its partner, an affiliate of coal mining firm Tanito Group.
Petrosea?s Marketing and Communication Manager Melanie Kridaman said: ?Petrosea has not sold its 50 percent stake at Santan coal mine in East Kalimantan to its partners coal mining firm Harum Energy. PT Petrosea and Harum Energy are currently developing the mine together and drilling is taking place.? (Denny)
