Petrosea to start coal mine production by year-end

East Kalimantan coal mining firm PT.Santan Batubara plans to start production from its mine by the end of the year.
President Director Dave Gilbert told Petromindo.Com that the mine owners IDX-listed contractor PT.Petrosea Tbk and coal mining group Tanito Group are currently completing commercial agreements.
Gilbert said that first production would come Sapari mine, which has mineable reserves of 8 million tones.
Petrosea and Tanito shares equal stake of 50 percent at Santan Batubara.
Petrosea COO Neil Whitaker said that the mine would start production at 1 million tones per annum. (denny)
