PGDP gas project completed, handed over to PEP Asset 2

Upstream oil and gas firm PT Pertamina EP (PEP) said that the Paku Gajah Development Project (PGDP) in South Sumatra has been completed, and currently in the process of hand-over of the gas production facility from the contractor to subsidiary PEP Asset 2.

?The current status of PGDP is in the (process of) hand-over of the production facilities, the SPG (gas collection station) Paku Gajah with capacity of 45 mmscfd, and the SPG Kuang with capacity of 25 mmscfd to PEP Asset 2,? said PEP President Director Nanang Abdul Manaf in a statement on Thursday.

Nanang said that PGDP is a project to develop gas fields in the areas of Pagardewa, Kuang, and Gajah, in Muara Enim and Ogan Komeraing regencies, South Sumatra, through the integration of gas production facilities.

He added that the objective of PGDP is to accelerate the monetization of assets so that exploration potential in the Pagardewa, Karangdewa, Prabumenang, Tasim, Pemaat, Kuang Selatan, Lavatera, and Pireterium structures can be produced economically.
