Balai Geothermal Power Plant Project
JICA Loan No. IP 557.
1. The Government of Indonesia (GOl) through its executing agency PT. Pertamina Geothermal Energy has received a Loan under Official Development Assistance (ODA) from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) toward the cost of the Lumut Balai Geothermal Power Plant Project aijd signed date of Loan Agreement, It Is intended that part of the proceeds of this Loan will be applied to eligible payments for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued.
2. PT. Pertamina Geothermal Energy intends to prequalify eligible bidders for the plant design, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the complete Fluid Collection Reinjection System and 2x55MW Power Station under the following Contract Package:

3. Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Guidelines for Procurement under Japanese ODA Loans, March 2009, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines.
4. The Prequalification Documents are available for nonrefundable fee of Indonesian Rupiah Five Million only (Rp. 5,000,000) and Applicant(s) may obtain the prequalification documents from the address below from 31th August, 3 - 5 September 2012 within office hours.

5. Submissions of Applications for Prequalification, in one (1) original and two (2) copies, must be received in sealed envelopes or packages, either delivered by hand or by registered mail to the address above not. later than 12? October 2012, and be dearly marked ?Application to Prequalify for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (FPC) of Lumut Balal Geothermal Power Plant Project?JICA Loan No. IP-557?.
6. Applicants will be advised, in due course, of the result of their applications. Only Firms and Joint Ventures and Consortia pre-qualified under this procedure will be Invited to bid.
7. It is expected that Invitations to Bid will be made in 26 November 2012.
