PGE says progress of PLTP Karaha unit 1 reaches 92%

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energi (PGE), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, said that the construction progress of the unit 1 of the Karaha geothermal power plant (PLTP) project in West Java Province has reached 92 percent.
"Overall progress (of Karaha-1) has reached 92 percent," PGE President Director Irfan Zainuddin told Petromindo.com on Friday.
He expects that the commercial operation date (COD) target for the Karaha-1 will be reached in late November 2017.
