PGN adds new CNG customer

State-controlled gas distribution firm PT PGN Tbk said that its subsidiary PT Gagas Energi Indonesia will supply CNG to a restaurant called Bebek Belur Pramuka in Lampung Province, adding the list of CNG customers from the commercial sector.

In March, Gagas Energi also obtained a new CNG customer, Radisson Hotel.

Kontan quoted on Tuesday Gagas Energi Indonesia’s Head of Lampung Sales Area, Yanuar Triaji Baskara as saying that the company’s CNG products should not only be utilized by the industrial sector, but also the commercial sector.

He claimed that by using CNG, the commercial sector business players can save energy cost by 15-30 percent.

Gagas Energi supplies CNG under the brand name of Gaslink, transported via trucks to consumers in areas where gas pipeline networks are not available.  (*)
