PGN, BPMIGAS finalize Pagardewa gas price renegotiation

State gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) said the company and the upstream authority BPMIGAS have finalized renegotiation on the price of gas delivered from Pagardewa area in South Sumatera, operated by PT Pertamina EP.
?Agreement has been reached. We are now just waiting for information from BPMIGAS for the right time (to sign the deal),? Director for Investment of PGN, Wahid Sutopo told Petromindo.com.
Wahid however declined to disclose the new price of the gas from the Pagardewa area.
Spokesperson of BPMIGAS I Gde Pradnyana said earlier that BPMIGAS was seeking to raise the gas price to US$5 per mmbtu from US$2.2 per mmbtu agreed earlier.
