PGN completes 18.3 km pipeline in Batam

IDX-listed state owned gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) Tbk announced on Monday the completion of its 18.3 km gas pipeline project in Batam,
?The gas pipeline project was completed on schedule,? PGN?s Director Dilo Seno Widagdo said in a statement.
The new pipeline covers three business areas of Batam, namely Nagoya, Lubuk Baja and Jodoh. ?The pipeline will be used to distribute gas to commercial customers such as hotels, restaurants in Nagoya district and restaurants and industries in Batam,? he said.
The new pipeline brings the total length of distribution pipelines operated by the firm on the island to 141.3 km. Prior to the completion of the new pipeline, the firm operated a total of 123 km pipelines on the island.
