PGN, ConocoPhillips in S. Sumatra gas supply talks

IDX-listed state gas distribution firm PGN said on Thursday it is in talks with US oil firm ConocoPhillips over supply of 250MMCFD of gas from the latter?s Suban-3 gas field in Corridor Block PSC, onshore South Sumatra.

CEO Soetikno told reporters that PGN is eyeing 10-year supply starting 2011 from the field. Gas from Suban would be transmitted to West Java through PGN?s South Sumatra to West Java pipeline, he said.

ConocoPhillips is the operator of Corridor Block with 54 percent working interest. (godang)
