State-owned gas utility PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) has delayed its plan to list its shares in foreign stock exchanges this year, the Bisnis Indonesia newspaper reported in its Wednesday edition.

“We have delayed the listing (of PGN shares) in foreign stock exchanges because of fluctuations in the stock markets. Efforts will be made to realize the plan (listing) in 2005,” PGN president director W.M.P. Simanjuntak told the Bisnis on Tuesday in Jakarta.

PGN is currently listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.(*)
