PGN expects sales to reach 1 BCFD in 2010

State gas distribution firm PGN expects gas sales volume to soar to 716 MMCFD in 2008, up from 413 MMCFD in 2007.
CEO Sutikno told a House of Representatives hearing on Monday that the increase was mainly due to supply ramp-up from South Sumatra gas producers ConocoPhillips and Pertamina.
PGN, he said, has currently 15 gas contracts with producers including ConocoPhillips, Pertamina, Lapindo Brantas, BP ONWJ, Kodeco, Santos, and Husky with total volume of 1 BCFD. Sutikno said PGN? sales would reach the contracted volume of 1 BCFD in 2010.(bernard)
