PGN: FEED, FS, EPC invitation for N. Sumatra LNG storage & terminal

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) ?Tbk?(?PGN?) plans to establish a floating LNG storage and regasification terminal in the vicinity of Medan, North Sumatra, in order to enhance supply of natural gas to power plants and industry In the area.
We envision the terminal project consisting of a floating LNG storage and regasification (FLSR) vessel, a mooring jetty with LNG transfer and high pressure gas offloading arms, and a pipeline delivering regasified LNG to an onshore receiving facility and onward overland to an off-take point on our existing gas distribution, network.
We hereby invite capable and qualified companies to express interest in performing Front End Engineering and Design (FEED), Feasibility Study (FS) and Engineering Procurement/Construction (EPC) of the terminal, including provision of a floating LNG storage and regasification vessel. The companies are expected to have experience with similar projects. It is our intention to solicit FEED/FS?s from qualified firms, which will be the subject of technical evaluation. The companies are also be asked to submit EPC Bid Documents and lump-sum EPC cost estimates on the basis of their approved FEED/FS?s. A contract for terminal EPC will be awarded based on the quality and operability of the FEED/FS-defined facility and the lump-sum EPC cost estimate.
