The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which is investigating the case, only identify the two by the initials WMP and JP, saying though they are the former president director and director of the firm.
Sources said the two are former president director Washington Mampe Parulian Simanjuntak and former financial director Joko Pramono.
"They are currently being questioned," KPK spokesman Johan Budi told reporters Tuesday.
"The pair allegedly obtained the funds from one of the firm's branches and then directed them toward personal expenditure; however, I cannot confirm the actual sum in question at this moment," said Johan.
He added that the commission was scheduled to question several other witnesses involved in the case. Among them is Trijono, the former general manager of PGN's East Java branch, who now stands trial at the Corruption Court on similar charges.(*)
