PGN FSRU Lampung connected to mooring system

Norwegian firm Heogh LNG announced on Monday that PGN FSRU Lampung project reached a significant milestone on May 17 when the installation and connection of the FSRU and the Tower Yoke Mooring System were finalized on site, 6 km offshore Lampung
The project will commence commercial operation under a 20 year time charter with PGN by the middle of June 2014.
"We are proud to have a leading role in this pioneer project where a Tower Yoke Mooring System, which is part of H?egh LNG's scope, for the first time is used for an LNG import terminal. The construction of the FSRU and the Tower Yoke Mooring System have taken place in Korea and China and were completed on time and budget. This project restates H?egh LNG's ability to develop and deliver innovative, technological advanced and tailor-made solutions to our clients," Sveinung J.S. St?hle, President and CEO of H?egh LNG, stated.
The FSRU is leased by H?egh to state owned gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) for a period of 20 years.
