As of end of last year, IDX-listed gas distribution company PT PGN Tbk has operated a total of 6,470 kilometers of natural gas pipelines, which accounts for 76 percent of the entire gas pipelines in the country.
Of the total PGN pipelines, more than a third has open access status, which means it can be also used by third parties.
?Of the total 6,470 km pipelines, about 2,400 km are open access pipelines,? said PGN Head of Corporate Communications Irwan Andri Atmanto on Wednesday. He said that this means PGN operates the longest open access gas pipeline in the country.
Irwan said that the remaining more than 4,000 km pipelines are downstream dedicated pipelines distributing gas directly to consumers such as households, industries, commercial consumers (hotels, shopping malls, and hospitals), small-scale businesses, and power plants.
Following are the locations of PGN gas pipelines in the country.
