PGN in talks to buy Husky?s E. Java gas

State gas distrubution firm PGN said it was in talks with Canadian oil firm Husky Eenergy to buy gas from the altter?s Madura Strait PSC.

PGN president WMP Simandjuntak told Petromindo.Com on Friday in Surabaya that were on gou\ing and MoU was expected to be signed soon.

?We want to buy at lest half of Madura Straits?s gas reserves,? he said.

Husky, in its earlier release said that two gas fields, Madura BD and MDA, with total proven and probable reserves of 360 BCF. Husky is the opertor and 100 percent interst holder of Madura Straits PSC. (alex)
