State gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) is leading the talks with Premier Oil on the price of gas from Gajah Baru field, according to state utility firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) which is also a member of negotiating team.
"Negotiation on Gajah Baru gas is still underway, with PGN becoming the lead negotiator. This is because PGN's allocation will be 25 mmscfd, while FSRU Jakarta will get 10 mmscfd and PLN 5 mmscfd," said PLN Head of Oil and Gas Fuel Division Suryadi Mardjoeki to petromindo.com.
The gas supply, he added, will be delivered to Muara Tawar power plant in West Java.
