PGN opens tender for Gas Management System of S. Sumatra-W. Java pipeline

INVITATION FOR BIDS
PT. PERUSAHAAN GAS NEGARA (PERSERO), Tbk. (PGN) now invites sealed bids from interested bidders for :
GAS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR GAS TRANSMISSION PIPELINE
(Details and specification are provide in the bidding document)
for South Sumatera West Java Gas Pipeline Project
Interested bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Document at the address below.
Bidder from foreign and domestic who wish to bid for this package shall be a SCADA company which :
a. shall have telecommunication integration experience; or
b. may from a joint venture or joint operation or consortium or association including a Telecommunication Intergrator with condition SCADA company as the Lead Partner; or
c. having a Telecommunication Intergrator company as a Subcontractor.
Bidder and/or Subcontractor and/or all partners of joint venture or joint operation or consortium or association shall have International Standard for Quality Management
Bidder or that form a venture or joint operation or consortium or association shall :
a. have experience in the oil gas projects and shall have successfully implemented a total of over 4 (four) successful SCADA and Telecoms Integration Projects of similar complexity in the last 10 (ten) years, operating satisfactorily more than 2 (two) years, 2 (two) out of which shall have been undertaken outside the bidder?s country in a similar tropical country.
b. have bid capacity at least USD 2,500,000,- (US Dollar two million five hundred)
c. have a combined average annual turnover (for the last 5 (five) years) at least USD 5,000,000,- (US Dollar five million)
d. provide details of line of credit for minimum amount of USD 1,000,000,- (US Dollar one million).
The bidding documents shall be purchase by the interested bidder on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of IDR 5,000,000.00 (Indonesian Rupiah five million). The bidding documents will be available for collection from 21 September 2005 up to 29 September 2005 at 09.00 am to 03.00 pm at the address given below. The method of payment will be by cash.
All bids must accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% (two percent) of the total bid price, and must be delivered in accordance with the bidding document on or before 01.00 p.m local time, on 14 November 2005 and will be publicly opened immediately thereafter.
PGN will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by the bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.
