PGN operates gas fuel station in Surabaya

The gas fuel station (SPBG) is located on Jl. Ratna, Ngagel district of the city.
The station has a capacity of 0.5-1 mmscfd or between 15,000 30,000 liter of gasoline equivalent (lge). The natural gas is sold at Rp 4,500 per lge, the company said in a statement.
?The operation of the new SPBG evinces PGN?s strong commitment to supporting the government?s oil-to-gas conversion program,? Danny Praditya, President Director of PT Gagas Energi Indonesia, PGN?s subsidiary that handles the firm?s gas infrastructure for transportation.
He said the firm will build one more SPBG in the city this year and will supply gas to three SPBGs owned by its partners. Besides, the firm is ready to operate one gas fuel Mobile Refueling Unit (MRU) in the city.
Including the one in Surabaya, PGN has built five SPBGs in the country. The four others are located in Pondok Ungu (Bekasi), Jl Ketapang (Jakarta), Bogor and Cilegon. Besides, it operates MRUs in Jakarta?s areas of IRTI Monas, Waduk Pluit and Cengkareng. This year, the firm plans to build 16 SPBGs in Sukabumi, Jakarta, Bekasi, Bogor, Batam, Lampung, Surabaya and Riau.
