PGN Palembang unit to distribute 1.1 million m3 gas this year

The Palembang unit of the state gas distributor company Perum Gas Negara (PGN) plans to increase the number of its customers by 200 this year in a bid to reach total gas sale volume of 1.1 million m3, the Sumatera Ekspres daily reported on Tuesday.
The paper quoted the unit head of distribution and marketing Aryandra ST as saying that the company would create new distribution routes in the city to distribute gas to various industries and households.
Aryandra said that during the past three months, PGN Palembang unit could only have 85 new customers, sending its total customers to 610.
He said that total sales value per month out of the 610 customers was only Rp 12.8 million, with a monthly gas sale volume of 25,780 m3. (*)
