PGN, Pelindo III plan LNG receiving terminal

State-controlled gas distribution company PT PGN Tbk plans to cooperate with state-owned port management company PT Pelindo III to develop LNG receiving terminals in the country.

Commerce Director of IDX-listed PGN, Danny Praditya said on Wednesday that the company will supply the required gas under the planned cooperation with Pelindo III.

?We?ll cooperate in developing (LNG) receiving (terminals), but talks are not yet specific,? he told Petromindo.com.

In March of this year, PGN and Pelindo III signed a MoU, under which the former would among others supply gas to meet the latter?s gas requirement including for power plants at its ports and for other assets.
