PGN, PJB team up to increase use of gas

In a bid to support the government?s program to accelerate the conversion into gas from the more expensive petroleum fuel, state-controlled gas distribution firm PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) Tbk signed on Monday an MoU with PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB), a subsidiary of state-owned electricity firm PT PLN, to help accelerate the latter?s efforts to convert into gas.

PGN said in a statement that under the MoU, PGN will supply the gas need of PJB?s power plants, and will also develop the necessary gas infrastructure facilities.

The MoU was signed by PGN Director Jobi Triananda Hasjim, and PJB Director of Marketing and Commercial Muljo Adji AG.
