PGN plans to use U.S. dollar in its financial report

State-owned gas transmission and distribution PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) has planned to change the currency used in its financial report to U.S. dollar from Rupiah currency next year.

PGN finance director Joko Pramono said Wednesday that with the use of the American dollar, the company?s performance would reflect more accuracy because larger part of the company?s revenues and spending were based on U.S. dollar.

Joko said the company was currently seeking for approval from Ministry of Finance. (godang)
