PGN revises gas purchase deal with E. Java gas producers

State gas distributor company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) said it has signed second amendment on the gas sales purchase agreement (PJBG) with gas producers in East Java area, namely Santos (Madura Offshore) Pty Ltd, PC Madura Ltd and PT Petrogas Pantai Madura.

The gas is produced from Madura Offshore block.

PGN said the amendment on the gas purchase price is aiming at improving the commercial viability of gas production.

PGN hopes the amendment will support the sustainability and security of gas supply in East Java area.

The company however did not disclose the new gas price. (romel)
