PGN?s 2010 distribution, transmission volume slightly increase

State-owned gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) reported Thursday that its 2010 audited net profit reached Rp 6.24 trillion (US$=Rp 8,709), almost the same with the previous year?s Rp 6.23 trillion.
The firm attributed the profit increase to gas sales volume. In 2010, the volume gas distributed by the firm reached 824 MMSCFD, only 4 percent up compared to the previous year?s 792 MMSCFD, the company said in a statement.
Transmitted gas also increased by 9 percent to 836 MMSCFD from 767 MMSCFD in 2009, it said.
The company?s EBITDA recorded Rp 10.73 trillion, up compared to same period a year earlier of Rp 9.3 trillion. Total revenue reached Rp 19.77 trillion in 2010, up from Rp 18.02 trillion in 2009. (denny)
