All the members of the state gas utility PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN)’s board of directors will be replaced during its annual share holders meeting to be held tomorrow.

A member of PGN’s board of commissioners said that Minister for State Enterprises Sofyan Djalil called him and other commissioners to discuss the reshuffle of the PGN’s management.

“Several commissioners wanted to keep present director of finance Djoko Pramono. They wanted him to be promoted as president director. But majority of the commissioners wanted to replace the entire board of directors,” the commissioner, who preferred to remain anonimous, told Media Indonesia on Tuesday in Jakarta.

After a prolonged debate, it was decided that all the directors will be replaced with the new ones but the commissioner refused to reveal the names of new directors.

“The clear thing is that most of them will be from inside (PGN),” he said. (*)
