State-owned gas distribution company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) said that the ongoing negotiation with Santos over gas purchase contract had been tough as the former had yet to agree on certain conditions demanded by the latter.
"There are several conditions from Santos which we have not agreed upon," PGN president W.M.P. Simanjuntak told the Investor Daily newspaper on Monday.
He did not provide details.
Simanjuntak said that the company could not be able to sign gas purchase contract (100 million cubic per day contract)) with Santos soon. He, however, said that purchase contract with Kodeco (50 MMSCFD) could be signed sometime next month. (*)
