PGN seeks consultant for S. Sumatra ?W. Java gas pipelines project

PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) is implementing an integrated South Sumatra to West Java Gas Transmission & Distribution Project. The objective of the assignment is to engage a qualified and experienced consultant to assist PGN as the project management consultant (PMC) of the project?s gas transmission pipeline which includes the following components:
a. Labuhan Maringgai - Pulau Damar, Offshore, 32? Diameter, approximately 137 km
b. Pulau Damar - Muara Tawar, Offshore, 32? Diameter, approximately 22 km
c. Pulau Damar ? Muara Karang, Offshore, 32? Diameter, approximately 18 km
d. Muara Karang ? Tanjung Priok, Offshore, 32? Diameter, approximately 12 km
The consultants are expected to provide service in the following areas but not limited to:
1. Overall Project Management
2. Engineering Design
3. Preparation of Bidding Documents and International Competitive Procurement
4. Supervision of Procurement, Construction, Testing, Commissioning and Initial Operation
5. Environmental Monitoring.
The PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk now invites eligible foreign and domestic consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Applicants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the service (brochures, description of similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc). The foreign consultant who wishes to participate for this pre-qualification shall join domestic consultant. Applicants (the lead partner in the case of a JV/JO/Consortium/associate) must submit JV/JO/Consortium/associate agreement and certified successful experience (certificate of completion / client?s reference for completion of works) as the prime consultant for engineering design, construction supervision and project management at least 1 (one) offshore transmission pipeline contract (gas or oil related) within the last 10 (ten) years, where the length was a minimum of 50 km and the pipe diameter was a minimum of 20?
Interested consultant may obtain further information at the address below from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm from 9 June 2004 until 15 June 2004. Expression of interest must deliver to the address below by 22 June 2004. Only the expression of interest by mail/courier and receive by PGN will be proceeded.
