PGN seeks LNG supply from Qatar

CEO Soetikno told Petromindo.Com by phone on Sunday that he and Minister of State Enterprises Sofyan Djalil are currently in Qatar in a bid to secure LNG supply and also to offer cooperation to build LNG receiving terminal in Pasuruan, Surabaya to the Qatari investors.
Soetikno went on to say that PGN would meet with Qatar petroleum on Monday to discus possibility of supplying up to 4.5MTPA of LNG or equivalent to 600MMCFD to PGN.
PGN is also planning to build an LNG receiving terminal in North Sumatra.
He said that PGN is also currently in talks to get LNG supply from BP-operated Tangguh project. ?We have asked Minsitry of Energy and Mineral Resources to allocate some 200MMCFD of Tangguh LNG to PGN,? he said.(godang)
