PGN seeks underwriters for IPO

State-owned gas distribution company PGN has invited around 30 securities firms to be selected as underwriters for its planned initial public offering (IPO), Bisnis Indonesia daily reported on Monday.
The paper quoted the source as saying that among of the foreign securities firms or investment banks participated in the selection process included Credit Suisse First Boston, Merrill Lynch Indonesia, UBS Warburg, ABN Amro Asia Securities, ING Securities, JP Morgan Securities Indonesia, and BNP Paribas Peregrine.
Local firms include BNI Securities, Mandiri Sekuritas, Trimegah Securities, Bahana Securities, and Danareksa Sekuritas.
PGN could not be rached for comments.
The company is planning to sell 20 percent shares this year through IPO as part of the government privatization program.(*)
