PGN sees 2001 significant net profit jump

State gas firm PGN on Thursday said that its net profit for 2001 would significantly jump to Rp. 362 billion (US$ = 10,400) from just Rp. 50 billion last year.
PGN?s president director WMP Simandjuntak told reportes the increase was mainly due to the absence of exchange rate loss, which the company suffered last year.
Simanjuntak said company?s gross revenue was expected to reach Rp. 2.7 trillion in 2001, compared to last year?s Rp. 2.25 trillion.(alex/godang)
