PGN shareholders approve dismissal of a PGN director

Shareholders of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk have approved the dismissal of the company?s Director for Commerce, Michael Baskoro Palwo Nugroho, during an extraordinary shareholders meeting on Monday.

?Shareholders have approved the dismissal of Michael Baskoro,? PGN Corporate Secretary Heri Yusuf said. He noted that Baskoro's left position would remain vacant and his day-to-day duties will be assumed by other directors of the company.

PGN announced undefinitive dismissal of Michael Baskoro as Director of Commerce on January 20, 2012. At that time, PGN did not disclose the reasons for the move. The company only said that the decision to dismiss the director was in line with the company?s statutory regulation. This time Heri just noted that Baskoro's dismissal was related with his performance.
