PGN signs MOUs with 82 gas customers

State-owned gas distribution company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) on Thursday signed memorandum of understandings with at least 82 corporate customers in West Java region.
PGN's president WMP Simanjuntak said PGN will supply a total of 117.36 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD) of gas to these new customers.
?PGN has, so far, secured a total of 445 MMCFD of gas supply contracts or about 70 percent of the South Sumatra-West Java pipeline?s capacity,? Simanjuntak said.
Simanjuntak also said several companies, including Toyota Manufacturing, Multi Metro Kimia, PT Central Pangan, Argo Pantes Tbk, Olaga Food, Java Comfeed, and independent power producer Cikarang Listrikindo, have shown interest to buy gas from PGN.
He added PGN expected that the pipeline, which was currently undergoing construction, would be completed within 15 months. (godang)
