PGN signs new gas supply deals

State gas distributor PGN signed on Friday gas supply contracts with 192 corporate customers.
Under these deals (118 in the form of Memorandum of Understandings, and another 74 in the form of Heads of Agreements), a total 287 million cubic feet per day of gas will be distributed via PGN's South Sumatra-West Java pipelines (SSWJ pipelines I and II), said PGN commercial director Nur Subagyo.
The selling price of the gas was set at US$4.5 per mmBtu. This will be increased to $5 per mmBtu in 2006.
