PGN supplies gas to new customers in Bekasi, Dumai

State-controlled gas distribution firm PT PGN Tbk announced Monday it has made maiden gas supply to PT Oji Sinarmas Packaging, which produces flexible packaging from paper.
PGN said in a statement that Oji Sinarmas is a joint venture between Japan’s Oji Holdings Corporation (Jepang) and PT Purinusa Ekapersada (a unit of Indonesia’s Sinarmas Group) located at the Bekasi Industrial Estate in West Java. The company is estimated to require gas of 350- 1,750 mmbtu per month.

PGN said it has also earlier made maiden gas supply to PT Wilmar Energi Indonesia at the Dumai Industrial Estate in Riau Province.
Wilmar Energi produces palm oil downstream products such as olechemicals, biodiesel, methanol and various other products. The company will absorb gas at a volume of 62,100 mmbtu per month, PGN said.
