PGN to distribute Rp237 billion in dividend

State-owned gas transmission and distribution firm PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk announced Wednesday its annual general shareholders meeting had decided to pay a cash dividend in the amount of Rp237 billion or about 50 percent of the company's 2004 net profit of Rp474 billion.

PGN said the final cash dividend, which is equivalent to Rp52 per share, includes the interim dividend distributed December 30, 2004 of about Rp7.48 billion. (godang)
